Improved work environment

Switching freight cars in a shunting yard is risky, and misunderstandings can occur between switchers, shunting inspectors, and locomotive drivers. Remote control significantly increases safety because the same person driving the locomotive does the switching. One of Locomote’s unique functions is the tilt switch on the transmitter, which automatically stops the locomotive if the operator happens to stumble.
